|
Due to an increasing sales volume, we have a
new position available for an energetic professional to work
with customers, outside sales, engineering and
production personnel to deliver proposals and process orders
received. This position requires the
ability to understand basic technical concepts related to
industrial machinery and process detailed information
accurately.
Responsibilities |
 |
Prepare
proposals for machinery, automation, services, machine
accessories and spare parts from standard forms and
engineering supplied information |
 |
Follow-up
on proposals issued |
 |
Enter
spare part and accessory orders into MRP system |
 |
Follow-up
on orders in process, advocate customer needs in production
and scheduling |
 |
Maintain
database from contacts obtained by direct customer
interaction or provided by outside sales staff |
 |
Assist
with targeted marketing campaigns, customer calls or any
sales effort management sees as valuable and time allows |

Attend
trade shows and other sales opportunity events |

Requirements |

Industrial
experience related to machine components or automation |

Computer

Electrical Controls Engineer |
|
We have an opening in our engineering
department for an electrical controls engineer to work
with senior electrical and mechanical engineers to design
machine controls, develop software and test machine tools
and automation.
Our products use the latest technology in
complex servo motion control, variable speed drives and
industrial networking.
This is an entry to mid-level combined engineering design and
hands on position that will allow a motivated and skilled
individual to become a technical leader in the field of
machine control.
Responsibilities |
 |
Create
electrical schematics, panel layouts and bill of materials
for complete machine control systems using Autocad |
 |
Research
components and technology available from suppliers,
determine ways to increase reliability of controls and
reduce costs |
 |
Understand
and implement customer standards for dedicated equipment and
participate in design reviews |
 |
Support
control technicians with reference information and technical
solutions to problems discovered during machine build |
 |
Update
documentation and prepare portions of machine operation and
service manuals |
 |
Maintain
programming software licensing, installation and updates |
 |
Modify and
debug PLC and CNC programs based on established standards
and similar program examples |
 |
Design and configure industrial networking
systems and communication |
 |
Assist in
machine startup, debug and operator training |
 |
Perform electrical control quality
inspections on finished equipment and backup control devices
prior to shipment |
 |
Provide
technical assistance to end-users over the phone and
occasional field service (10-15% travel may be required) |

Requirements |

Associates
or Bachelors degree in electrical engineering |

Technical
field experience with machine tools and automation

Ability to
understand mechanical functions of machinery and tooling |

Familiar
with industrial wiring practices |

Strong
